Restructuring Business Assets<\/strong>: Two Mechanisms You Should Know About:\u2022 Contribution-and-transfer of securities: How can you take advantage of an automatic tax deferral?\u2022 Selling a company to yourself (OBO): How can you quickly generate cash to finance projects rather than waiting several years?<\/p>\n

How to transfer your business assets at a reduced tax cost<\/strong> based on a holistic view of business and personal assets:\u2022 Gifting company securities prior to their sale: What timeframe must elapse between the gift and the sale to avoid capital gains tax?\u2022 The Dutreil Agreement: How can you reduce the tax burden when donating securities, and what are the steps to take to activate this tax regime?<\/p>\n

Amid ongoing uncertainty following the numerous debates surrounding the passage of the 2025 budget bill, the guests were eager to learn, which led to some very interesting discussions.<\/p>\n
