A tax advisor shouldn't cost you money!
Our pricing is transparent, predictable, and proportional to the savings our clients realize.
Contrary to industry practice, the FareWell team offers a flat-rate billing model and/or a percentage-based model depending on the value added for the client.
We bill for our services in three ways: by the hour, at a flat rate, or based on results.
Our fees and payment methods vary depending on your situation and the complexity of the case we are handling:
- For specific, quantifiable tasks (drafting memos, organizational notes, filing a dispute claim), we propose charging a flat fee and/or a percentage of the savings achieved.
- For litigation matters (proposed tax assessments, contested claims, filing briefs with the court, etc.), we charge a percentage of the amount canceled or refunded as a success fee.
- It may be impossible to accurately determine the resources and time required to complete an engagement—particularly in the context of a tax audit—if we are involved in negotiations or a settlement on your behalf or in the context of a flat-fee engagement. We generally bill for these tasks on an hourly basis.
