The team is in Guadeloupe for a few days to lead a series of conferences organized by our partner, Serene Network.
This morning, we had the pleasure of starting the day with breakfast alongside about twenty entrepreneurs from Guadeloupe.
🔹 Planning Ahead
Claire Montesinos kicked off the morning with a comprehensive presentation on establishing an appropriate governance structure—a key tool for preparing for and facilitating the transfer of wealth.
🔹 Understanding
We then took the time to analyze several key mechanisms:
- the Dutreil Pact,
- a donation prior to transfer,
- the contribution-in-kind.
The conference sparked numerous discussions in a friendly, intergenerational atmosphere: several entrepreneurs attended with their families, bringing together different generations affected by these issues.
For the Farewell team, it was also an opportunity to share our vision: a comprehensive approach in which decisions regarding personal and professional assets are closely intertwined.
The morning continued with more personalized discussions tailored to each person’s situation.
